Something ventured
Something gained
Through all of the loss
All the pain.
It appears to be
Growth in life
Most often occurs
Through chaos and strife.
Most that is felt
At least as I see
The root is self
Evident to me.
External pain
Hardships and wrongs
We all encounter
Some weak, some strong.
Reflection on self
Honest and u afraid
Confronting shortfalls
Where true growth is made.
