White Privilege

I am curious.

Is "white privilege" responsible for inspiring many of today's nationally and internationally popular African American recording artists to perform rap artistry demeaning and hating our moms, sisters, grandmas, daughters, aunts and nieces, essentially characterizing the MATERNAL HALF of our population as less than human ^itches and ^hores unworthy of respect?"

Is "white privilege" responsible for a depressed teen and adult Freddie Gray harming himself and his struggling neighbors by using and peddling dangerous life-sapping drugs to his depressed neighbors, more than likely regardless of their age, emotional or physical condition?

Did "white privilege" cause Baltimore Mom of The Year's depressed teen son to join his depressed, angry, frustrated classmates in attempting to cause grave bodily harm or death to police attempting to protect peaceful Baltimore residents and business people from depressed, angry, frustrated, sometimes suicidal teens and adults?

Was "white privilege" responsible for Ms. Graham introducing SIX children to a life of pain and struggle?

Was "white privilege" responsible for Tavis Smiley's teen mom making a decision to build a family of ten children, nine of whom Tavis revealed in a May 2015 discussion about Poverty, continue to struggle with Poverty as adults?

Is "white privilege" responsible for countless numbers of immature, irresponsible moms like Ms. Graham and Mrs. Smiley CLEARLY creating Poverty that deprives young children from experiencing a fairly happy American kid childhood and enjoying SAFE STREETS to travel and play on?

Is "white privilege" responsible for ELEMENTARY SCHOOL AGE CHILDREN experiencing so much emotional and/or physical pain and trauma that they believe their lives are not worth living?

In a January 20, 2011 LAWeekly interview published online, popular American recording artist and victim of Early Childhood Trauma Kendrick Lamar revealed:

*"Lamar's parents moved from Chicago to Compton in 1984 with all of $500 in their pockets. "My mom's one of 13 [THIRTEEN] siblings, and they all got SIX kids, and till I was 13 everybody was in Compton," he says."*

*"I'm 6 years old, seein' my uncles playing with shotguns, sellin' dope in front of the apartment."*

*"My moms and pops never said nothing, 'cause they were young and living wild, too. I got about 15 stories like 'Average Joe.'"*

Is "white privilege" responsible for SIX-YEAR-OLD Kendrick Lamar maturing into a man who speaks on MTV about childhood and adult depression? As well as experiencing suicidal thoughts due in part to the Cognitive Dissonance he experienced trying to be the good kid and citizen his teachers were training him, his siblings and numerous cousins to be, while his "living wild" family and community environment exposed him to Violent Felons and gun violence he knew he could NOT speak about in school if he wanted to avoid becoming a Snitch who gets Stitches?

What confusing, mind tormenting thoughts did young Kendrick experience when the DARE presenter arrived to lecture his grade school class about the harm drugs do to people, including his family and neighbors.

Did "white privilege" cause the late popular American recording artist Tupac Shakur to wake in the morning thinking "Is life worth livin' should I blast myself?," or "My stomach hurts so I'm lookin' for a purse to snatch."

If "white privilege" is not responsible for the emotional torment experienced by each of the aforementioned Americans, who or what is?

Seriously, I'D LIKE TO KNOW WHO IS RESPONSIBLE causing elementary school children, we're talking little kids, to believe their lives are not worth living? :GRRR:

Peace.

Robert K. Ross, MD, President and CEO of The California Endowment, addressed inmates at Ironwood State Prison offering a compelling overview of the role that exposure to childhood trauma plays in the lives of *emotionally troubled* and chronically ill American teens and adults.
