Islam is the Problem - not soley Political
I agree the Problem [U]IS[/U] ISLAM.
It is difficult to confirm Islam is a political system.
However the fact is the Quran and Muhammad's actions comprised religious [note soteriological, eschatological], social and political elements.
However I believe what is most critical is Quran, Islam and the examples of Muhammad contain both good and evil laden elements.
It is just like asbestos which is very useful for humans as a economical construction material but at the same time it has a malignant potential.

So it depend on one's focus or inclinations.
The good natured people may see the angels while the evil prone will veer towards the devil.
It is like a Rorschach [I][B][COLOR=#6a6a6a]Test[/COLOR][/B][/I] to evaluate the psychological profile of the person.
1. I have read and research on the Quran extensively with in depth analysis.
My objective analysis reveal more than 55% of the 6,236 verses of the Quran contain evil laden elements [[B]of various degrees[/B]] that are directed at the infidels [non-Muslims].
2. My research on the subject of 'evil' [net-negative actions and thoughts] estimated 20% [conservatively] of all humans, thus 20% Muslims are evil prone. This can be supported by various polls on Muslims view on the negative elements.
3. It is the combination of 2 [evil prone Muslims] being inspired and motivated by the evil laden verses that manifest the potential of evils within Islam.
I don't blame Muslims because it is natural there are a % of evil prone people but Islam is to be blame because its evil elements are the additional catalyst that trigger the terrible evils and violence.
4. The potential to evil is natural to Islam because SOME evil prone Muslims want to avoid going to Hell as threatened in the Quran. So these evil prone will naturally be inclined to comply the evil laden elements.
The other motive is the establishment of a Caliphate which is religious and only seemingly political.
5. However this potential to evil is also exploited by various people for political and other purposes.
One good example is when the CIA used this potential to support Al Qaeda to fight the Russian based on verses in the Quran that exhort Muslims to get rid [kill by whatever means] of infidels who are oppressing Muslims in Muslims' land [Afghanistan].
6. The clergy also exploited these evil elements to support and sustain their careers and interests.
7. Those men who cannot control their lusts and those who are misogynistic may also exploit the evil laden elements in the Quran.
8. Thus is it difficult to claim Islam is primarily political. It is very likely Islam is primarily a religion based on the larger portion of verses when Muhammad was in Mecca preaching his religion based on soteriological and eschatological elements.
