Although true, hunters DO eat, at least the skilled ones do, my name derives from the world of horses.
And because the word hunter is in my name, people automatically think I'm a guy. Not even close.
Whenever I meet someone named Hunter I have to bite my tongue to keep from saying "That's my name, too!"![Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)](https://pics3.city-data.com/forum/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif)

Guys! Really?

A couple of days ago I decided to run - jog really. So I took to the track - it's a great track, brand new and spongy. I took a second lap and noticed a lone soccer player. He was tapping the ball into the air with his feet, over and over without it ever touching the ground.
"That's awesome" I said with a gasp as I rounded the bend. "Thanks!" He seemed pleased and tapped even faster. I veered off to a different path and, by the time I rounded the same bend, soccer-boy was sitting inside the goal, ball laying idly by. I felt sorry for him.
Next lap I see another guy approaching with a soccer ball! I look ahead and see the soccer boy jump up and resume tapping. The new-comer sprints towards him, dribbling his ball with precision.
Thank goodness! He's not alone anymore! (I'm a mom, what can I say.) I continued to run, feeling much better.
NEXT lap (it's a small track) I see soccer boy kicking the ball into the net and the new-comer AT THE OTHER END OF THE FIELD kicking the ball into THAT net! What gives, guys?
If that had been two girls, I don't care, they'd be playing together. No doubt. Even if it was "I'll kick the ball into the goal and you see if you can block it". No, these guys will be out there till doomsday, loving the game, a team sport, kicking the ball all by themselves. Alone in a crowd of two. Crazy, right? Maybe not if you're a guy.
I seriously wanted to stop and say "Would you please play nice?" I'm a mom, after all.![Big Grin](https://pics3.city-data.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
