Usually I am in bed asleep however this morning I am sitting here writing the blog. I did not sleep well again which is not unusual and I've been up for a couple hours now.

I took a shower at 3:00am, fixed coffee at 3:15am and looked at those dishes that need to be washed, dried and packed at 3:30am. Then I grabbed my fresh cup of coffee, shut off the kitchen light and came to my desk to sit down and play a few games on POGO.

Then I decided to write the blog since I am awake and it is Sunday. One son had his 36th birthday yesterday, one son has his 36th birthday tomorrow and the other son has his 29th birthday on August 16, 2015.
One son is married and has one child, one son is married with no children and one son is not married and has no children. They grow up so quickly.

We close on our new home on Thursday which means I will be leaving our current home about 3:00am on Thursday. I will stop and pick up my Mother then she will go with me to the closing. Then the real fun begins with getting utilities turned on, a crew set up to paint the living room, kitchen and bathroom, someone to go in and clean the entire home before we move in. Not that it isn't clean but I just want an additional cleaning since we will have a paint crew doing some work. I also have to set up the cable, internet and house telephone, water, sewer, trash pick up and get our address changed.

Then I can come back to our current home and get absolutely everything packed and load what I can in our motor home and our vehicles. Then the moving trailer will be here and all of our stuff will be in boxes to be moved.

How many boxes does it take to put your entire life in? Have you thought about moving that way? When you move you box up your life which ends your life in that particular place on this earth. Then as you unpack you are unpacking your life and placing it in that particular place.

The question is how long does your life live in one place or another? We just bought a home so we are anticipating not moving again during our lifetime. This may or may not happen but our wish is that we do not move again.

The thing is, life can change in less than a full blink of your eyes so you really never know what will happen moment to moment and here we are back to moments. You cannot live without moments but you can somewhat control what happens in some of those moments but not all of them. You can determine where your next moment will be until someone comes along and they choose to change your moment because of what happens in their moment. Our moments cross, connect, conquer and divide within each other when we are in the same area as someone else or interact with someone else.
Their moments become your moments and your moments become their moments. Not completely though just partially then you move on or they move on and your moments disconnect and you move on to the next moment.

It can be somewhat confusing and a wee bit overwhelming if you allow it to be but overall most don't even think about their moments crossing over into someone else's moment.
It is probably best that way because those that over analyze ever minute detail of their lives already would never get any sleep at all.

I will leave you with a few thoughts to ponder if you choose to:

How many boxes does your life fit into?
When was the last time you washed your socks?
Do you have curtains on your windows?
Are your walls white with accessories for color in a room?
Do you like the movie Grease?

As usual I wish you restful sleep and peaceful dreams when it comes time for you to wander your timbers of slumber.
