Container Choices

Last year, we started vegetable gardening again, after a ten-year gap. But this time, we did it all in containers. Last year we had some pretty good success with a cherry and a patio tomato, and some Cherokee wax beans. Not so much potatoes...never buy dollar store dirt!
This year we were dumb enough to put two indeterminate tomatoes (Black Krim, Black Prince) in a little bitty Earthbox.
They fell over. We propped them up with a ladder. They're almost horizontal, but still producing.
We also have a prolific Cubanelle pepper, more beans, and two potato bags. And a pot of carrots, a Container Choice 'mater, and some unknown tomatoes that were GROWING RIGHT INSIDE A SUPERMARKET TOMATO. Be afraid!
And blackberries! Picked a quart today, have the scratches to prove it.
