Where do I begin?
To introduce myself, My name is Julia but I prefer Julie. This was because when I was little my mom and her best friend had a deal that whoever was born first could take the name Julia and the second born could be named "Julia" as well, but people had to call them Julie. Why did my mom make this deal? I have no idea-- I don't even like the name Julie but no one will turn back and call me Julia. Pretty sad I know but I got over it years ago.
I am from Miami, Florida known as the land of tan and rubbery skin to the gorgeous models everywhere. It is a curse and a blessing because I am always motivated to work out and stay in shape.
I have moved around quite a bit because of my fathers job. I have lived in Baltimore for 5 years, DC for 4 years and now I am in school in Chicago. My family still lives in DC which is nice to get that east coast feel.
I am 22 finishing up my last year at college. Amazing that I am almost done but stressful knowing that in a year I am in the scary real world.
To continue talking about myself.. My family is amazing. My parents are the most loving and supportive people I know. They have given me and my brother the best education, tutors and lifestyle a girl could ask for. Right now, I am a little angry at them because they have officially pushed me out the house and have cut me off money wise. Ok they haven't made me homeless and they still pay for my college tuition which is amazing, but now I am on my own affording all of my clothing, food, school supplies, textbooks and all other expensive a twenty-something year old girl needs to afford.
The realization has not quicked in yet because school has not started but after looking up my textbook prices the past week, I almost had a heart attack knowing what my parents normally pay for them. (ugh).
So to sum up this introduction, I joined this forum because now I am looking for advice for multiple topics relating to money, real estate in different location, and trying to make it through this year showing my parents that I am on top of my S%!* I already got an infraction on this forum which was b***$*** because of advertising which i was generously sharing an outsider website to forum readers.. weird i know
