That they have done something to hurt your feelings or upset you it is very hard for them to try and make things right.
That is all I will say about that and if anyone who reads this understands then you know what to do.
Otherwise, we bought a house, actually technically our offer was accepted for a home and all we have to do is get the paperwork signed, write the check and get the keys.
Then we can get moved, unpacked, settled in and be in our new home well before the snow flies this year.
It is an older home but good for us, I hate the colors on the walls but that can be changed and hopefully before we actually move in. Other than the painting there is nothing major we will be doing as far as remodeling.
I do want to screen in the front porch within a short period of time but screen only this year. I like to sit on the porch in the evening but the mosquitos attack me so bad that I am unable to enjoy my time outside hence the reason we will be putting screen only on the porch this year.
Next year we will do what is necessary to enclose the porch completely with windows and screens and still be able to sit outside.
I also do not want to smoke in the house and the enclosed porch will give us a wee bit more room as well.
We do have to replace the front door soon, it is metal and it does look like someone has used it more than once for target practice with pellets or BB's or who knows what. The door does open and close properly as well as lock but it just looks really bad.
So closing is in 2 weeks and rent is due again where we currently live in 3 weeks so we will do our best to be packed, loaded and our current home cleaned and looking like it did when we arrived 5 years ago.
I will be writing the blog on Sunday or whenever I feel like writing it but I don't think I am going to be spending much more time on the forum in general. It has become a chore instead of a pleasure so it is time to take a break.
Life shows you sometimes that some things just need to be set aside for a while. Not that it is a terrible thing but just a necessity from time to time. Kind of like eating cupcakes, when one has a single cupcake it is good and you can enjoy it and savor the flavors.
However when one has 4 cupcakes one right after the other one can get a stomachache and not enjoy any of the cupcakes.
So I will leave you with a few things to ponder if you choose to:
Do you have draperies/curtains specially made for your home, buy them from the department store or make your own?
Did you mark every moving box and have it put in a specific room when it was all unloaded?
Do you pour bacon grease on your campfire?
As usual I wish you restful sleep and peaceful dreams when it comes time for you to wander your timbers of slumber.
