While the explicit sexual scenes is the main thing people talk about, when you get down to it, this is a coming of age film. Early relationships mold who we are. We've had our trial, and made our errors - now we're ready to do it right.
You can't help but like Adele. And I had flashbacks to Thomas Vinterberg's The Hunt (2012) when they first showed her teaching elementary school kids.
[spoiler]I expected more fallout from her sexuality in her every day life, but they didn't focus on that at all, but more on the relationship, which to me earned that fourth star right there. [/ SPOILER]
