Whatever it is you are looking for?
Do you know what you are looking for?
Are you even looking for anything?

I decided to put the pondering questions first this time but it is still your choice to answer presented questions or not.

Anyway, we have been looking for a home to purchase and it has been a very long, very frustrating search. We decided at some point you just have to draw the line in the sand and choose a home that may not be your dream home exactly but will be a good home for you.

Paint is cosmetic and can be relatively inexpensive if you want it to be. Granted painting is a bit labor intensive and detailed but not completely overwhelming if you focus on one room at a time. Plan ahead, choose a day, tape off everything that needs it, put down plastic, paint that room from start to finish before starting any part of the next room.

That way you can either move furniture out or paint before you even move furniture in and if you want to replace the carpet do that after the walls, ceiling and trim are painted.
Then move all of the furniture in and place it where you want it and admire your completed job well done.

If you want to add a room then make the plans, find out how much the cost will be for materials, permits, etc. Save all the money you need for the job plus some extra for those "just in case" items that may come along. After everything is in order start on the room and focus on it from start to finish.
Do not make plans for the next room or wall or paint or siding or whatever, just start and finish that room. Then stand back and admire your completed project.

Make lists of things that are important then put those things in order of importance. Then go down that list and focus on one item at a time from start to finish, do not move on to the next item on the list until the first item is completed.

I do that when we are getting ready to take a trip or the house is in complete disarray and I need to get it cleaned and organized.
The list is written and each item is completed before the next item is even thought about.

When we go to the grocery I make a list and I follow that list and I rarely get anything that is not on the list. It saves time, it saves money and I do not have a lot of excess as far as pantry or freezer items.

I am going to keep this short today because honestly I just do not feel well but it is Sunday and I usually write the blog on Sunday even if I write the blog on a weekday as well.

Ponder what you wish, make a list, find what you are looking for or not.

As usual I wish you restful sleep and peaceful dreams when it comes time for you to wander your timbers of slumber.........
