Tonight.

Tonight, I am overwhelmed and really do not want to think. I am a hospice aide worker. I am overwhelmed by the thought my patients will die, eventually.

This will happen anytime, any-day, in the future. Then I rationalize, "...well we all die one day...nothing in this world, not the rocks, trees, beautiful grass, the blue sky, the songs of the birds will end.

All the things I enjoy, one day, will end. Death is not just for my patients.

Actually, death is natural. Our end will come one day and this final moment will end.

Due to these thoughts, I want to feel the cool breeze rushing over the grass and rustling the leaves. I want to FEEL that feeling on my face, rather than the nothingness we face.

I want to see the new, "Jurassic Park". I want to see flowers, I want to look at close at a Lilac Flower, and smell the sweet scent of a late summer in Maine.
