Inland empire triple digit heat!

It's for one day only, but already I'm dreading it.i have to work this evening but I miss my old town in central coast. It's only in the 60s and here we have to turn the AC.
My mom is visiting this month and it is truly great time with her.. My son is off school right now and I was hoping to take him fishing but all he wants is to stay in his room. I'm making sure he goes this week on my day off, he needs to get out! The summer usually is hard on kids and parents. Parents have to work and it's hard to plan for a teenager, then you worry about them all day at work, especially if they're left alone. But as a parent, I know it goes by fast and as my mom says, these are the best days with the kids still around and living at home and should be appreciated!
