Sunday ~~ June 7,2015 ~~ How do you win a snowball fight?

Posted 06-07-2015 at 09:21 PM by CSD610

This may appear to be an odd question to ask since it is currently the summer season.
Hot, humid, rain that makes it more humid, lots of bugs, coons, coyotes and other critters wandering about freely. The night stalkers of all form slithering, meandering, hopping, frolicing and generally having a grand time after dark. I believe this could be referred to as the original "Night Life".

Anyway, back to snowball fights and the reason I asked the question. I play games on the PC and one of those games is the Royal Envoy series. In this series they have the normal games, challenge or bonus levels and achievement awards you can earn by doing specific tasks within the game. One of those task is to "whitewash" the competition in a snowball fight. The snowball fight is betwee the "Locals" and "Guests" and you are one of the "Locals". The way the game is set the "Locals" win the first and third round of the snowball fight automatically. It is the second round that is the important round when it comes to this achievement award simply because "whitewashing" your opponent means winning the first two rounds of the snowball fight. To date I have probably played more than 100 snowball fights and I have yet to win that second round.
Not that this is really all that important however, my goal is to win every level of this game including the challenge/bonus levels and every achievement award available.

I have two achievement awards left to get, one is the snowball fight and the other is the achievement award for winning all of the other achievement awards. This is in no way important to anyone but me and it really is not that important overall in the grand photograph of life, it is just something I want to do.

In other news the garage sale is over for this month and we did well. Well over two dozen items left our home and we made $121.50.
Not bad for two partial days of garage sale and the best part is that we no longer have those items in our home.

We are hoping to sell many more items next month because we are hoping to move either next month or the month after. If it all works out and we are able to move, whatever does not sell here we will pack and take with us.
Then as we are unloading and unpacking we will be setting up a "Moving In" sale which I hope does well. Simply because we will be the "new" people in town and humans being humans they are nosy and will come around just to see who these new people are. Hopefully my logic works and we will get rid of most or all of the remaining items we want to get rid of.

In all of this sorting, packing, moving, selling, fray are those items that we are going to keep and the items we are going to give our Niece for her "hope chest". I think that is a long forgotten tradition to have a Hope Chest for a young girl but in our family it still happens.

I'm sure I will be writing more about the potential move and hopefully the actual move in the near future but we shall see how things go.

Until then I will leave you with a few thoughts to ponder if you choose to do so.

Do you treat your lawn for bugs and such each year?
Have you ever thought about building a house for the Purple Martin?
Do you have mice in your basement?

As usual I wish you restful sleep and peaceful dreams when it comes time for you to wander your timbers of slumber.
