I am covering for a vacationing co-worker and it is my turn to stay up all night. I have been dreading this but actually it is midnight and not too bad.. I am going to stay off coffee as long as I can because I dont want to be all charged up when I get home around 7am.. So far not too tired.
My mother is coming for a visit next week and that makes me happy to have some extra company and also to look at some houses together since I do want to move to Orange County.
My job is going ok but of course I have always this nagging feeling to look for something better, more hours( I am currently working part-time about 30 hours per week) and less evenings. I am working exclusively almost all evenings and it has ruined my sleeping patterns. No matter if I work or not, I stay up very late and sleep till 9-10am. Not to mention, I hate leaving my son alone at nights. He needs supervision. and not to mention how expensive it is to live in Southern California. My mortgage takes over one of my paychecks and it leaves me no room to save any money. This is the first time in my working life, I would have to borrow money from my savings in order to have a vacation. Not a good feeling!
