Quite a few topics in the title but mainly just the first words that popped into my brain and my brain tossed to my fingers and my fingers have presented them to you here.
Do you ever really wonder how that happens automatically? Sometimes I do but most of the time I just let the Pachinko Machine Brain (as Mr. CSD refers to my brain) take over and let it cling, clang, bang and bong wherever it wants to go.
It doesn't always make sense where it goes but sometimes it is frightening just how accurate my thoughts can fall into place.
Leagues are another topic I have never understood outside of the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, Major League Baseball, the National Hockey League, the National Basketball Association which is a league even though league is not in the title.
Unfortunately these are not the leagues being referred to on this forum. It is always how to date "outside of my league". Why are you outside? What league? Who's definition of league are you using? Who determines anything about anyone else they do not personally know?
In my opinion it is a terrible concept of placing labels on humans. I have labels however, I chose to put those labels on myself in the form of Tattoos. I do not consider myself out of anyone's "league", I never have and I never will. We are all humans which from what I have seen is the only "league" that should be considered.
Numbers, aaahhh numbers, numbers are the basics of counting life. Numbers being used for age, numbers being used for height, numbers being used for weight, numbers being used for accounts, statements, IQ, grades, etc. etc and then there is PI which is an entirely different blog for someone else to write.
Are you a number? Do you assign numbers to humans? If you do, why do you? Do you like being referred to as a number? Something along the lines of ........
Hey, bartender I'll take a number 4 for now but as soon as I finish that I'm sure I will be promoted in my league so I'll go for a 6 the next round. After that I should be able to work my way up to an 11.....
Sounds ridiculous doesn't it?
Ratings, just another label for leagues and numbers. Also ridiculous and self imposed for some but most of the time that label is put on by others. When it comes to movies I absolutely agree with the rating system but not humans. Well, maybe a wee bit of a label for humans but only a tiny portion.
Something along the lines of: Charlie what is the rating on that one.
Well Joe this one is breathing so I'd give it a good to go for dating.
Well Charlie how about that one over there.
Joe, not so much that one is a bit on the gamey side so the rating is dead and undateable.
Summers, good old summertime, lemonade, cook outs, boating, hiking, fishing at it's peak, family, fun, vacations and kids out of school for an entire 3 months. Left alone to their own vices, posting on a public forum just to be annoying.
Gosh I love summer.....
RV's, a big part of summer, some are in them all summer long, others live in them full time and the rest either do not have one or only use them from time to time. They are the comfort of home but on wheels. They move, the have stove, fridge, bed, couch, chairs, and a lot of them have a television.
Ours does not have a television. The entire idea behind "camping" is to get away from all the technology, noise, rat race, chaos of the city. So that is what we do, cell phones are present but turned off, no television, no radio just games, each other, books, toys, nature, bugs and cooking on the camp fire.
Flats, now what do you think of when you hear the words flats? Do you think of tires, homes in some cities, shoes, old pop, older beer?
For me flats is shoes that I wear that are technically not flats. They are sneakers, Keds to be exact. When I worked in an office environment I wore flats. Not much on high heels after that one 2 year period. After that, flats, sneakers, tennis shoes, barefeet, socks but only flats at work, a wedding or a funeral.
So what do you think about any of it or all of it?

Do you carry a handbag?
Do you have a label other than a tattoo that you chose to put on your body?
Do you like grape jello (not jello shots) for dessert?
As usual I wish you restful sleep and peaceful dreams when it comes time for you to wander your timbers of slumber.......
