Sunday ~~ April 19, 2015 ~~ Suddenly the room lit up.....

Posted 04-19-2015 at 11:06 PM by CSD610

The lamp did not turn on though, the lightening was so bright she could see every detail of the room. She could still feel the grasp on her arm but no one was there in the room with her.

The noise had stopped but she thought she heard faint breathing and that made her heart race even more. She stopped screaming long enough to turn the switch on the light but the power was still out.

She decided to go back to her room and get her book light so she might be able to see just a wee bit of something and at this point almost anything would have been good to see.

She made her way down the hall and when she got to her room the door was closed. She knows she left the door open when she first started looking to see what the noise was.
She started to reach for the handle of her bedroom door when she heard the yowling noise again. She turned around quickly and bumped into something.

That scared her even more because there is nothing in the hall outside of her bedroom door. Her Mother put a small table with flowers in a vase next to their bedroom door many years ago. Her Mother loves fresh flowers so that vase is always full of fresh flowers.

She started to reach in front of her to see if she could figure out what she bumped into and the lightening flashed again. She caught a brief glimpse of a face but she did not recognize who it was. She started screaming again when someone grabbed her arm and told her to calm down, everything would be just fine.

That made her scream even louder and the grip on her arm got tighter. Her mind was racing as fast as her heart because she had no idea who had a hold of her and she was trying to figure out how to get out of their grip.

Suddenly there was a loud crash of thunder which startled both of them and the grip on her arm was loosened just enough that she could turn and run quickly into her parents room.

She got the door shut and found the phone in the dark to call her parents but the phone was not working because of the storm.
She decided she would either lock herself in her parents bathroom or try and climb out of the window to get away from whoever was in the hall.

She was about to open the window when she heard voices in the hall and those voices were getting closer to her parents room.

She quickly opened the bedroom window and ...........

I wish you restful sleep and peaceful dreams when it comes time for you to wander your timbers of slumber.
