That is a dangerous place to even walk in, let alone move to!
There's a lot of dangerous wild animals in that neighborhood.
There a LOT of wild deer running loose right next to that neighborhood, because there is large forests right behind Holland Lane.
There is a LOT of wild coyotes too, which live right behind Holland Lane.
There are raccoons too in that neighborhood, which is dangerous because many raccoons contract Rabies, which can easily kill you if you are bit by a raccoon.
East Hartford, Connecticut is a dangerous, cruel town too, because there are MANY cruel, abusive residents in that part of that town whoinsist you pick up your dog's feces every time it poops, IMMEDIATELY or they'll call the Police on you!![Frown](https://pics3.city-data.com/forum/images/smilies/frown.gif)
And the reason there are so many dangerous wild animals in that town in crowded residential neighborhoods in East Hartford is because of that creepy, disgusting dog feces ordinance!![Crying](https://pics3.city-data.com/forum/images/smilies/sad4.gif)
How are you going to protect yourself OR your dog if you have to hold onto a bag of dog feces and must hand onto your dog's leash with your other hand?
People DON'T have three hands, they only have two!
And if a vicious deer comes after you & ATTACKS you, how are you going to defend yourself if you are FORCED to hang onto a bag of dog fece???
We were actually driving down Holland Lane today, and we saw 6 deer running right IN BACK of someone's home, and 3 of those deer were Baby Deer!
A female Doe actually badly ATTACKED a disabled man right in BACK of the East Hartford Town Hall a few years ago, in the spring, because the female Doe had baby deer with her.
If you get attacked by a LARGE Male deer in the winter, which is a Buck, and has large horns, you can easily be killed by that animal.
That Dog Feces Ordinance is a dangerous law! That town has LOTS of traffic in it, and there's several signs in Major roads, including State Roads, that says there is Deer running across major roads!
And if a deer hits your car, your car can easily be totaled, or you could even be killed!
And in that town too, the Dog Warden is hardly EVER enforcing the State Dog Anti-Roaming Law!
There have been so many innocent friendly dogs who were being walked on a leash by their owner, attacked by a vicious dog whose owner deliberately let their mean, vicious dog run OUT of their yard & attack the innocent, friendly dog!
That is breaking a State Law and imho, animal cruelty too.
There's SO many bad drivers in that town, East Hartford, who don't even BOTHER stopping for Stop Signs in the north end of East Hartdord, especially Silver Lane.
I wouldn't recommend anyone moving to the north end of Silver Lane if you value your health or your safety.
