Central Texas near Austin back to Arizona near Phoenix

We are moving back to Arizona near Phoenix. Texas has an excellent economy with good incomes but overall an individual will pay more taxes in Texas: yes no payroll taxes which are $40 per week as an individual at about $90,000 salary. A house at about 3000 sf in TX is a beautiful house with 3 car garage but you will have a house built out of brick, mortar and pretty white stone. A very solid home but you will pay about $7500 in property tax. In Arizona, you will pay $2000 in property taxes maximum. In Texas they have property tax credits but it will not be much. You get much more house in Arizona for the dollar but although, insulated still, it will seem like it is built like a chicken coupe with spray concrete as the walls. Solar power will be plentiful but if you don't have it on that size home, you will pay about $400 to $600 per month for utilities. Utilities are very low because of the competitiveness. They have less regulation so way more competition and plans that save utilities costs in Texas. I like that Texas has plentiful health care and med centers that you can pay in many places and lots of places will only take cash and not insurance in Texas. So that cost will be lower. In Arizona, you are limited and the costs will be higher. There are great places to eat in both places but in Texas they have more local grower places then any place I lived and been to and I have been to most states. Also, speed limits are very nice and higher then anywhere and a bit more than in Arizona. Arizona has a corrupt legal system and private bar compared to Texas and that is very obvious when they disbarred the attorney general who was exposing the corruption. That says it all for that. Justice and law is very fair in Texas including divorces and civil law too better in Texas. Common core is obvious in Arizona but it was never accepted in Texas. They can expose as much lies as you want to here but the actual work that the kids do has deceptive stuff in it and obvious agenda that I personally seen but apparently you can as a parent can make sure that it does not spread this kind of agenda in the school but this can be in any school anywhere. Both states have great schools or not. It really is the student effort though with the balance of parents and teachers. BE aware. Texas makes it more restrictive to home school then Arizona. Texas on the books now have in fact infringed on gun rights where Arizona is more open with gun rights. I don't like that the federal government messes with Arizona and tries to control the borders more in Arizona by trying to destroy the most popular sheriff in the country who is trying to protect the citizens. In Texas they are more in control including the fact that Texas is on their own utility grid separate from the rest of the country. Good luck. IW
