Netflix dvd slowdown...

Was it sometime last year when Netflix dvd stopped Saturday processing? This practically eliminated any Monday dvd arrivals and cut down on the amount of dvds you could get a week.
Sometime this year, most other dvd subscribers started to see another slowdown. Instead of the usual 1 day delivery, for returns and shipping to you, there were several 2 day and sometimes 3 day deliveries. If you called customer service, they are aware of these delays and are working on it.
This further decreased the amount of dvds you could get a week. So you are now paying the same price for 50-75 percent of the level of service you are used to.
Further research yielded these references:

Obviously, USPS' first class mail slowdown is the culprit.
Netflix falls back on their fine print - dvds will be delivered in 1-3 days. The problem with this is customers have become comfortable with a certain level of service. When you cut that level without cutting the price, people recognize the loss in value.
Netflix is basically saying it's the postal service's fault. If someone you know was killed by a defective air bag, the car manufacturer would not say they didn't make the air bag.
