In Minneapolis everyone's so friendly
I LOVE MINNEAPOLIS :))))
You know you're never too old to ride in circles around the Mall of America Merry-go-round and get high on life...well sort of ...then get Juicy-Lucy'ed at Matt's Bar on Cedar Ave...it's been around for ever and ever
And it's the cute little Hiawatha light rail...let's call it Minneapolis's Polar Express to anywhere you want to tag along a crowd of people on an adventure to some fun spot downtown (it rivals that DC-NYC-Boston Chinatown youthful east coast line I touched on in an earlier post...but in Minneapolis it's mini-sized fun city!) Also, unlike the mass transit in larger cities, Minneapolis you can push the hiwatha lightrail doors open without waiting for automatic doors to slam open
Everyone can go from seeing Sharks in the mall aquarium...
out to 1st Avenue all singing and shouting en route to a Jingle Balls concert, shivering in the sounds of pop stars
Then Hiawatha light rail, sleep on the rail if you want to stay warm in the 8-degree weather ...meet new people...use the lightrail to meet new random minneapolites....
Everyone can park on the side freely because the snow eliminates the parking lot white lines anyway. It is an anything goes kind of place.
And you can randomly find solitude in the Minneapolis sculpture garden. It's a really really really happy place...
