Thursday ~~ December 18, 2014 ~~ The countdown is on, are you ready?
The countdown is for Christmas Day which is exactly 7 days from today. There is no countdown for us because we only get for the grand children and we will see them sometime between Christmas Day and New Year's Eve Eve.
So have you found everything you were looking for?
Do you have the menu ready and all of the ingredients?
Are you taking a dish to someone else's home?
Do you have those ingredients?
Do you have enough wrapping paper, tape, bows, ribbon and name tags?
If you are traveling have you packed your bags for your trip?
Have you had the necessary checks and maintenance done on your vehicle?
Do you have enough cash to carry with you just in case a business either does not take debit or credit cards or something is wrong with their machine?
You may want to have enough extra cash in case the gasoline station is all prepay and you may get a slight discount for using cash.
Have you made arrangements for the care of your animals if they are not traveling with you?
Do you have all the linens on the extra beds cleaned if you are having guests in your home?
Do you have enough pillows and blankets for anyone who may be sleeping on the floor or the couch?
Have you mailed Christmas Cards yet if you send them?
That is all I can think of at the moment but it has been years since I have had to deal with any of that chaos and I do not miss it at all.
So, I'll leave you with all of those questions to answer and my apologies if I have missed something.
