I come to work, count the minutes, the days that I'll have to work to be off!!
There is not much pleasure in counting the time, but I know if I didn't work, my days off would not be as pleasurable.
Now, my real love is writing. I wonder if i didn't have to work, would my anticipation and happiness would be as great?
I have to work until midnight this Thursday and be off for four days!!
I am the kind of person who does not like working in an office setting and be bound by a clock. I like to be at home and work from home. I'd rather make less money but be free to be creative and artsy. I chose this route to please my mother. It made a great income for me, but no real satisfaction. I have been working in this field for almost 20 years and it makes me feel like I have had to sacrifice my own happiness for money. I know some people have found the secret to both happiness and great income. I wish I could be one of them..
