chronic diseases

chronic diseases like diabetes, heart disease, hypertension, etc. are really nothing but blessing in disguise!
they force you to take a hard look at your diet and lifestyle. Drugs cannot be your one and only way out of the problem. you have to look outside of box and try to change the way you've been used to eat, live..
Inconvenient at first? yes, but in the long run they actually save your life vs someone who has no warning and all of a sudden their health takes a nosedive.
Embrace what your body tells you. Change your lifestyle and examine your past behavior. I'm sure at the end, you'll feel it has been for the better.
Im talking from experience. Even though I'm in healthcare, I personally reserve drugs as a last resort. Unfortunately to find a doctor who's willing to use lifestyle changes as the first resort, will be difficult.
