It takes patience to know the truth

THE TRUTH: Last week two people whom I have known for years, blurted out, I just can't stand people who lie. Yet these same people have favorite actors that they try to see when they are appearing in a movie and they follow novelists who tell lies for a living. It must be that these folks have never thought through all the subtleties of truth. There is the partial truth because there isn't time or need to tell the whole truth. There are times when it is none of your business truth; this is often the case in business with trade secrets etc.. In the military there is the "need to know" truth because to much information puts lives at risk. Doctors and lawyers must make daily decisions on; what is truth and how shall I handle it? But there are people who believe that truth comes only in black and white and that it can always be understood by even the simplest minds. It is these folk who are most likely to swallow, "the grand design lies" the ones that have many books touting their validly and spokesmen to remind you everyday that their lie is in fact the truth.
