English Class

Posted 07-20-2014 at 01:36 PM by aliasfinn

Did anyone else have trouble with that subject? I don't know why I did, It's my own damn language. I mean it's not like I was taking Chinese or Russian but I did manage to pass all my English classes. I think I just had too many distractions that kept me from getting good grades. In one class I had a pretty dark haired girl with a Partridge Family lunchbox that sat right in front of me. I just couldn't concentrate on my work so I finally worked up enough nerve and tapped her on the shoulder and whispered, " What kinda goodies you got in that lunchbox? " Another thing that bothered me was when the teacher would call someone up to the chalkboard and have them write down a paragraph that she read from a book. When I finished writing she would embarrass me in front of the class by underlining all of my mistakes and yelling at me " This is a contraction, this is a contraction " I thought to myself " It's probably giving birth to another misspelled word. " I think I averaged a C in all of my English classes which was a hell of a lot better than I got in math and science.
