Thankful Thursday 7/17/2014

Today is Thursday! So that means today is Thankful Thursday! What am I thankful for today? For the month of July I was given the opportunity to volunteer with my library to help instruct an art class for children ages 4-8. It's been fun so far and today one Chinese girl said to me, "You're really nice. Thank you for helping me. I have trouble cutting paper and no one listens to me. I'm glad you're helping me." That made me feel good, actually. When I move, I'd like to help kids on the side as a volunteer (while working a full time career). I had to help another little boy who was a little mentally challenged and he was grateful for the help. I'm thankful for the lessons I'm learning.
