I do not like Windows 8 at all so I surrendered and confiscated my Husband's Toshiba laptop and I am going to have the new Windows 8 HP laptop cleaned off completely and put back to factory specs and sell that danged thing.
Sometimes I do not adapt to change very well at all and this happens to be one of those time.
I'm older and like the older versions of Windows. The touch screen I can deal with on my iPad but the whole Windows 8 thing is beyond my grasp right now it seems. Oh well, there are worse things without doubt.
Otherwise I have been quite busy scanning in documents. What a process and very tedious and time consuming when done the right way the first time. I am in the midst of putting all of our documents in digital form and saving them in several places. As I scan I make sure everything is clear and present . Then I name the file, save it in a specific folder then shred the actual paper original unless it is a legal document that should not be shredded like the titles to our vehicles.
It is dull, boring and takes a long time but the more I scan the more I can shred and that scan pile gets smaller by the page. My goal is to have all of these documens scanned and shredded by July 31, 2014. A huge goal but not impossible to attain.
I am getting quite tired though so I have quit scanning for the evening, I played a couple games, checked to see if anything new was on the forum and I will be going to bed within the next few minutes.
So I guess I will leave you with the following:
How do you adapt to change?
Have you had any changes lately?
Did you surrender to the changes and go back to the old familiar?
Did you adapt to the change easily and continue to move forward?
Do you like cook and serve pudding?
Do you lock your vehicle at home when it is parked in the garage?
Are you a baseball fan?
Do you know how many squirrels come to visit your yard each day?
What is the last silly thing you have done?
If you choose to ponder the above thoughts then do do, if not then don't, it is your choice.
