Kindness

Posted 05-07-2014 at 10:10 PM by nooshb

I realized the meaning of kindness on Sunday.
My son finally wanted to go fishing on Sunday. While in Santa Barbara pier, I ordered some clam chowder and sat on an umbrella covered table and chair. Shortly after, a lady arrived who liked my table, so she invited the rest of her family to join. The rest of tables were either taken or did not have an umbrella. It was rather a large family , so by the time their food was brought to the table, we were definitely short of space. I was kind of bothered at first by them crowding me out, but i had finished my food and even though they had no right to tell me to leave, I could tell I was really in their way. I got up and left even though I didn't want to.
I think kindness is to do something nice for someone before they even ask you to do it and even if it means going out of your way for them. It felt good to do it.
