Sick

I've been so sick today that I could not even taste any food. I had minimal appetite too. All I wanted to do was lie on the sofa and drink water. Even tea was tasteless. Moments like this make you appreciate your sense of taste. Where would be without it? Huge part of life would lose its pleasure.
This is why, I like getting sick once in a while. It might sound crazy, but this is the only time I take my life slow. I'm always pushing myself to do more, but when I'm sick, I have a great excuse to just lay around and enjoy being stationary!! And on top of that, I appreciate all my senses when I get them back!!
