WRONG ! I've lived in varying areas of FL. for over 30 yrs., and know people in Citrus County; none of them have witnessed a hurricane in the years they've lived there ... the hurricane threat in this county is next to zero, especially if living in the areas a few miles east of 19! People there generally do not have wind storm insurance ... some risk, yes, but so low people don't even think about it for the most part.

    We are a retired couple looking to relocate to either Homosassa or Spring Hill. We will be renting and would like a good neighborhood with stores and restaurants that are not too far and we don't want to deal with heavy traffic. Any suggestions?
