This blog is basically to chart my progress in trying to lose weight...
This is a Record of my daily events including my family when appropriate for my other family members to see if they choose to.
This is my legacy, for my family to read after I am dead and burried. So, any thing on here is meant for them only and if it offends anyone, my apologies, but, its not meant for you and them![Tape](https://pics3.city-data.com/forum/images/smilies/tape.gif)
Chow for now...
May the LORD Bless all who see this.
I wish you well...

Shot

Wife has a bulging disc in her lower back.
She didn't sleep much at all last night, moaning in pain, getting up and walking the floors, because she cant lay down, sit or stand, with out pain in her one leg.
She went to the Chiropractor and got her shot in the back this morning. I took her at 9:30 and she was done at 10:30am.
She said she spent a half hour talking to them, and explaining her meds and past history, and what-nots, (even though, I had it all typed up in page form, they still needed to be 'told').
Then, she got the shot. Only took about five minutes to do.
Afterwards, she had to lay down for a half hour to make sure there was no complications to the shot.
All this time, I was sitting in the waiting room, waiting for her to get 'better'![Think](https://pics3.city-data.com/forum/images/smilies/think.gif)
Turns out, they told her that it may take one to two days before she feels the effect of the shot.
(I should of known, since I had the shots too, but, its been so long ago, that I don't even remember what it even felt like. The only thing I remembered is, they never worked on me).
Well, its been about five hours later now, and she is laying on the couch, moaning in pain!!
It really looks like she is going to be a candidate for surgery someday, to get this situation corrected. Ive had many people at work get this operation and they come back, with out pain... maybe, if this doesn't work, she should ask about it too.
We shall see....
I wish you well...

sounds like her pain may be sciattic pain. I too suffer from this and some years ago my doctor perscribed gabapentin. it helps with nerve pain and with it I can at least lay down and sleep. it is not a cure but it has helped me significantly and hopefully will stave off the need for surgery. good luck and god bless.
