I'm getting a cat for us and my son is ecstatic. He keeps texting me if I've got the cat yet. We're adopting from our local shelter and they have so many rules and regulations.. but I'm in love with this 4 year old American short hair tabby. I've had cats all my growing years and I know how pets can make kids happy..
Cats make a house feel like home. They're loving but at the same time independent. I admire them for this. No one can tell them what to do. They have a mind of their own. Admirable!
