This blog is basically to chart my progress in trying to lose weight...

This is a Record of my daily events including my family when appropriate for my other family members to see if they choose to.

This is my legacy, for my family to read after I am dead and burried. So, any thing on here is meant for them only and if it offends anyone, my apologies, but, its not meant for you and them

Chow for now...

May the LORD Bless all who see this.

I wish you well...

Sciatica

Posted 03-11-2014 at 02:34 PM by woodworkingmenace

So far, Ive taken my Wife to the Chiropractor, and he told her to give him two weeks, and it should be 'cured'.. or at least, she should be with out pain..

Yeaaa Right!

Its only been since January 27th since she went to the Emergency Room for the severe pain in her leg, that she has been suffering all this time.

We went to our last treatment to accupuncture today. She told my Wife that she has a pinched nerve, and that she should go to a Neurologist, and suggested the one next door LOL! (My Wife 'tried' calling him, when she had this pain, and they wouldnt answer the phone!!).

So, she inferred that we shouldnt come back, cause we are wasting her time and our money on this sort of treatment. Shame she didnt tell us in the first place, instead of wasting our time and money... oh well. Another venue down, and we have to look at more options to get her treated and out of pain, if possible.

She has had ten or more visits with the Chiropractor, (but, he didnt know he was 'treating' her for sciatica, so, the first eight dont count sheesh! Doctors and thier excuses...

If all else fails, then a cortizone shot in the back, to lessen the pain, if possibe, but, thats at the end of the month. We still have time to get other treatments before then.

Tomorrow, is her third 'treatment' for sciatica from the Chiropractor, so, only four more to go? Dont think so... I will be impressed to no end if that venue works, but, dissapointment ends up hurting my Wife if it doesnt.

Daughter is going to go to phlebotomoy classes next week. (Not to be confused with lobotomies LOL-->still like that joke, no matter how old it is LOL).

Found out, that most phlebotomists have to travel from hospitals to hospitals, and none are employed full time!!!
Whaaa? Im spending money for her to get classes to get her liscence and she wont get a full time job? sheesh, she could get a security job if she is going to be part time...sheesh! (In fact, they called my Daughter on the phone, a Security job at the RaceTrack... Yep, going to tell her, to keep all her options open, even if she wont take it).

Dish Reciever is working just great. Now I gotta reprogram all our 'regular' TV Programs that we normally record each week. Forget one, and my Wife will be down on me like a ton of bricks!! Hell has no fury, than a woman who misses her television shows, especially the last 5 minutes of one...(been there and done that one, and dont want it done again!!).

Im getting interference in my television screen all the time. I think its the VCR/DiscRecorder underneath the TV. Checked the connections, and they are tight, so, its either a bad cable, or, something is wrong with the reciever. Going to have to take some time out and see what is the problem, because putting the new Dish Reciever didnt take the snow out of the TV, sheesh. Also, when we kick on the VCR/DiscPlayer/Recorder... (all that, and I dont really know what to really call it), the interference will comepletely go away, and it becomes clear as a bell. Im wondering if I can just get my remote to play that puppy, and I wont have to worry about snow anymore LOL...probably not. sigh...

Turning the clocks ahead was a real pain.
Wife turned hers ahead that night, and I had to turn a few ahead the next day.
Still, the one under the TV is an hour behind LOL sheesh! Maybe next week? I will work on it.

I wish you well...
