I am doing research, and that is part of why I'm writing on this public forum. I appreciate your input. My husband has been there for 6 months already to get to know the area, as we are moving to a very expensive place, filled with millions of people who have their communities and know their way around, so I'm trying to get help from those of you who would know. I do realize that the communities are different. I live in a very family oriented area whose schools are highly achieving. I am in Tennessee, but for the entire state, we are the highest. So I'm hoping to find an area of community for my family where we can try to get to know other families, play soccer, go to dance, etc. and make it an easier transition for my kids who will miss their friends and home very much.
