Twenty Five Years as a Choir Member

Posted 10-13-2013 at 06:09 PM by Fortoggie

What I learned as a choir member and what I wish the junior members of congress would learn as well. First, I was never asked to pick a song. Was never asked to suggest an arrangement. My job, at first was to try and blend in and not hit a sour note. It was clear that I was not to bring any embarrassment to the choir or to the director. Next I was expected to support the tenor section, to sit when the choir sat and to stand when they stood and to always sing the same song and the same stanza that the choir was singing. Is that to much to ask of the junior members of congress?
