Welcome To Case's Column

Let me say a big welcome to all of you for joining me here. I'm going to call these blog meetings Case's Column. I wanted to use "Corner", but that was already taken. Since 2008, it's been a real privilege to come on here and share some of my life with you, and it's a big world where we live.

In these blogs, I'll just speak whatever is on my mind, but we will be playing within the rules here. I may pick a particular topic, point out an event, or shoot the breeze. I'm a little bit of an essayist at times, so I'll just speak what's on my mind, and I might tell a story or two. Or, I might spew out an opinion or three. There will be some serious moments, some tender, some poignant, but there will also be those moments that you'll just bust out laughing. But, hopefully, everything will be in good fun here. And, of course, there's a place below for your comments and thoughts as we go along here. So feel free to join me for the ride -- I sure as heck hope I'm doing this right and not making any mistakes.

Thanks for taking your time in reading Case's Column. Hopefully, you'll enjoy being entertained by it as much as I've enjoyed putting these writings together. And thanks for the time you spend in City-Data.com, where it's great to be alive!

Regards,

Clippers On My Own Buzz Hair

Posted 08-11-2013 at 04:02 PM by case44

Anyone can find ways to save money on things he or she really would rather not pay same for. Such is the case with things like my own hair. For many years, I had gone to hair stylists and gotten an easy haircut for that buzz hair on top of my potato-shaped head. Prices have always ranged from fifteen to thirty dollars.

Well, any time I can save that amount of green, I can. Besides, I see nothing wrong with using a Wahl custom shaver on my head. It's not like I have to deal with complicated things like curling irons or coloring agents or whatnot. For the money I paid for a Wahl shaver (which, really, is about the same for a haircut), I have basically paid for hundreds of cuts right here in my humble abode. Imagine that, free haircuts. And buzz hair is the easiest thing to cut. I mean, straight running up the top and up the back, sideways on the sides, all with the shaver, and voila! Great set of clippers for the things I need to accomplish. That money I saved can go into something more important,.....................like good food.

Where would you rather have your money go, a haircut or another meal?? I'd say I've made my choice.

I too did that 'once'.. LOL...

My Wife went NUTS when she saw what I did to my hair!
She told me, I will NEVER get ahold of those 'shears' again!

She now cuts my hair, since she likes it short, (I keep telling her, October 1st, is my last haircut for the Winter, so I dont have to 'freeze' with short hair, and I resume it on May 1st for her approval LOL... Being on blood thinners, Im colder than people who dont take them).
    I wish you well...
