This blog is basically to chart my progress in trying to lose weight...

This is a Record of my daily events including my family when appropriate for my other family members to see if they choose to.

This is my legacy, for my family to read after I am dead and burried. So, any thing on here is meant for them only and if it offends anyone, my apologies, but, its not meant for you and them

Chow for now...

May the LORD Bless all who see this.

I wish you well...

Dad's Passing...

Posted 08-03-2013 at 08:53 AM by woodworkingmenace

My Dad passed away this morning, at approximately 9:35am.

My Brother called my house at 4:05am, and told my Son that my Dad wanted to go to the Hospital.

Every so often, they, (my oldest Brother), would call the house, givng us updates, and I would just let my Son take the messages.
I figured I had time, when they actually moved my Dad to a room, instead of the Emergency Room... I was wrong and didnt get up there in time for his passing.

My younger Brother and Mother got there shortly after I did, and then I left with my Son.

May you Rest In Peace, my Dad, you have lived a full life, and deserve the rest your getting now. As my Daughter posted on FaceBook, "RIP Pappap. Heaven has another Angel".

On another note:

My Wife took my Daughter up to Pittsburgh Childrens Hospital last night to get her VP Shunt looked at.
They admitted her for 'observation'... Never doing a shunt tap, or anything for her!

One Doctor would say they are going to do this test, or that test, then another Doctor would come in and tell her that they are not going to do this or that test...If it wasnt so serious, it would be laughable, as one Doc didnt know what the other was doing, and nothing at all was getting done!

They did send her for X-Rays, and CT Scans in the Emergency Room.
Its when they got to her 'room', that they started to contradict themselves on what they wanted to do.

They are coming home today, soon as they have breakfast I hope, (If Im paying for the room, she ought to get breakfast!!). Wife was complaining that she didnt get a good cup of coffee from the Cafetieria, and is waiting to get one at MickeyDs on the way home LOL

OK, going to watch some TV, until they get home, and maybe munch on a sandwhich or something from the fridge.

I wish you well....
