Now, theres a flip side to your reply, increased sprawl, traffic, crime, pollution, and taxes are all a direct result of the massive influx of transplants to Metro Atlanta.

If you look at that map at the bottom of the screen and scroll down to the tab that says percentage of people from out of state. Now, a large percentage of the criminals that are out here committing the violent crimes in this region come from various neighborhoods on the western and southern areas of Atlanta. Now if you play around with that map and click on areas around that area, you will notice that those areas have a very low percentage of people who were born out of this state. Now, if you scroll to some of the suburbs that are to the north of the city, and Fayette and Henry Counties, you will notice that there are a high amount of transplants, with many areas being over 50%. Even in the wealthier parts of Cascade Rd have a pretty healthy amount of transplants, and if you haven't noticed, many of these suburbs with the higher number of transplants are pretty safe and usually when there is a violent crime, many times they travel from some of the areas with a lower number of transplants. Also, your argument about the pollution is wrong as well, studies have shown that over the past few years, we have been having less and less smog alerts.
