In search of life!!!!

Posted 07-25-2013 at 07:49 PM by JAHvaris

It seems all my life I have been in search for something. That something, I do not know what it is!! But I know I can not find it standing stationary!! In the last five years I have gotten closer to YHWH. In doing so I started understanding the ways of the world a bit more. Also just meditation to YHWH can lift my sprits!! For about three of those years I have wanted to travel. I have been just to scared too. Yet, lately I have been feeling that God will protect in my voyage, where every it may bring me.

I have come to the conclusion that what I want I can not get from where I am living. I do not really care about all my materialistic things, they do not mean much. Yes, I am thankful for them but in a way I feel selfish. There are so many people that go with out. They don't even have the little I have. The bible says we should not become unevenly yoked. Yet in America that is the way it seems to be. There is no equality. That everyone seems to fight for!!

I have been watching documentary's and reading articles about the amount of people in poverty. Not just people with drug problems and mental issues. But families who were working good jobs and lost them are now living in their car, or in a cheap hotel. Because in a shelter the families are spilt up by gender.

I have came to the conclusion that I want to give it all up and travel with a small pull along RV. Staying in camp sites and other lodging areas. If we don't have money one month for lot rent or to travel to the next town there are always Wal-Mart parking lots. I want to help people realize that the way we live is not how we are suppose to be living.

We continue to give to a government that does not care about us!!! They keep gaining and us lower class continue to struggle. I was told my neighbor hood I just moved to was bad. In reality it is not bad. It is full of a bunch of people that are struggling. Yes, unfortunally in poverty stricken areas crime rate is higher due to the need to survive and your family! But these people are not any different then you in me.

Actually I have found that they look out more for their neighbors. This is the first place I felt safe because I know my neighbors are looking out for me and my family. Lets say you lose your job and your resources run out.... where would you be???? What would you do??? Many people don't even think about that. Because they feel secure with the way their life is. But in truth the government is in power of your job and you can lose it at anytime. When ever they feel budget cuts are needed.

Think about this, if a large amount of people banned together and traveled from place to place but did not buy or rent homes. What would the banks do? All these house that have been foreclosed on are still not rented or re owned. Lets say 100 thousand homeowners walk away from their home and all their items. Now all these home owning companies are going to need us. Not the other way around where we need them!! Now lets say the same amount of people start buying their food from farms and mom and pop stands instead of grocery stores. Eventually the grocery stores will need us!!

In my heart and mind I feel I am making the right move. Also in doing so I can experience the world as a whole. I am 26 and I only know about CT, NY, and FL. I want more out of life. I want true happiness not the stress of trying to pay bills. 90 years ago life was not like this. I don't want to live this way any longer. Come Feb I will start my journey. I may even U tube it. Till then it is planning. Time to start charting all my stops!!

JHA: you are on to something here and it sounds like you might be able to help a lot of folks right in the neighborhood where you are. I am familiar with that on the road feeling but sometimes it's best to stay in place and let providence send certain folks to to you. Whatever, I know you will be good for those you meet.

You make great points and they do make sense it's just that most people (probably the majority) are too afraid to make or take (for that matter) such a bold stand/chance of their usual way of life. I on the other hand (if childless) would be a willing participant. Good luck to you on your journeys!

Thank you I am glad there are people that do feel the same way!! I have felt it for awhile. Yes, I do realize many are too afraid to take the risk or to change their life style. I am glad to hear that there is already one person willing to do this!! I will be blogging when my adventure starts late Feb early March. If anyone would like to join I am more then happy to have everyone with the right mind frame along for the Journey!!! I am hoping even parents will see the benefit in this also. I have a child so I will be leading by example!!!

Fortoggie. Your right I probably could help people here as I am in the same boat as them. But giving my money that I slave at minimum wage for to a person who is living in luxury doesn't suit me. The reason the poor are getting poorer is because we pay all the money we earn to keep a "suitable" home over our families head yet we can not enjoy life because we do not have extra!!

It is time for people to start standing up and make the change. We live in fear of doing anything outside of the norm because we are afraid we wont have the nesscarys to live. In truth working a minimum wage job and scarping by isn't succeeding. I have faith God will guide me in my journey!!

Think about this if everyone working a minimum wage job goes on strike due to not being paid enough to live off of. Would they want to hire minimum wage then?? I think yes because now all these businesses will be losing money.
