The Vital Importance of Truth and Right-Words.

Posted 06-27-2013 at 01:04 AM by PromisedPeace

Peace be on everyone..The Truth is divine attribute. All truths are from it. Truth is taught by Prophets. It is one of the basic morals. It is natural. It brings real progress. When one leaves truth, one contradicts one self and one’s senses. When children see parents speaking lies, they follow the practice.

All Prophets of God were the most truthful people. That is why the divine light descends upon them as revelation. Any claim about Prophets speaking untruth is categorically wrong.

“O ye who believe! Practice Taqwa (righteousness, following all teaching of Allah) and say the right word.”

“He will bless your works for you and forgive your sins. And whoso obeys Allah and His Messenger, shall surely attain a mighty success.”

“Verily, We offered the Trust to the heavens and the earth and the mountains, but they refused to bear it and were afraid of it. But The Man bore it, indeed he is (capable of being) unjust (to), and neglectful (of himself).”
[Holy Quran, chapter 33, verses 71 to 73]

These verses tells:
1-Weight of saying the right-word / truth is so great that that it is mentioned next to word Taqwa (which is generally translated as righteousness but in its broader sense, it means following all commandments of Allah, paying His and His creations rights and believing all Prophecies).

2-The blessing of saying right-words / truth along with practicing righteousness, will bless all matters of one’s life. Learn the truth from Allah and the Messenger. The Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) always stood firm in announcing the greatest right-word i.e. the Unity of God. He taught the followers to speak and practice truth as it cleanses all sins…….Today’s decline in society has the basic reason of leaving truth. God’s help and His grace is needed for a believer to get strength to trade of truth.

Quote:
…There is courage and valour in honesty while a liar is a coward...Man is feeble and full of flaws and difficulties encircle him...one should pray that may Allah the Exalted enable and make one recipient of [His]help…

3-Then a similitude is mentioned that responsibilities associated with revelation from God to Prophets are so great that heavens and earth are unable to bear those. Only the man – The Man of God could bear it by bearing lot of burden with pain. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) is the best example in this regard.

Untruth is an idol, whoever trust it, leaves trust on God. Real truth is that which is adopted in unfavorable circumstances. If one believes that God always watches (and He does) and one is accountable, then it is easy to stay at truth.

Truth is the right-path which believers always pray and struggle for:

“Guide us to the right path”

“The path of those on whom Thou hast bestowed (Thy) blessings, those who have not incurred (Thy) displeasure, and those who have not gone astray.”
[Holy Quran: chapter 1 : verses 6,7]

Incoming holy month of fasting, Ramadan is good mode for learning divine truths which helps faithful to spiritually meet The Truth – Allah.

Peace be on everyone.
