Georgia Bottoms Heats up Six Points, Alabama

Six Points, Alabama was hot enough from just the summer sun but 34 year old Georgia Bottoms turned the heat up a few more notches.
Have you noticed a lot of novels are set in towns?Six Points is so out of date and dull looking that you wouldn't even stop there for a hamburger until you learn about Georgia.
Like so many southern women she is forced to make it in a podunk town. For four years she is able to accommodate, six men, one each night, and still have Monday night off for herself. The Judge was the Sunday client, The Sheriff came by on Fridays and Rev. Hendrix was scheduled for saturday night.
Other than the heat and the mosquitoes, Georgia had it worked out well until the Rev. had a guilt attack and decided to confess his indiscretion on a Sunday morning in front of his wife and the whole church. Just before the confession hit the fan, Georgia got word of it and with a very creative approach set about keeping the lid on an explosive situation.
Mark Childress, an Alabamian himself has become a very popular southern writer and Georgia Bottoms will keep you snickering and even laughing out loud.
For my part I was delighted to see how much fun and laughter could go on in one dull podunk town.
