Canada: Ahmadiyya Khalifah Inaugurates Mosque in Vancouver. Responsibilities.

Peace be on you. The purpose for making a mosque is that faithful should gather together to worship the One God. Existence of a mosque exerts effects on faithful and the neighborhood. A mosque opens new avenues for the introduction of Islam to broader society. Making a mosque brings responsibilities of the local believers. They and their children have to come to mosque regularly, get connected with Allah, demonstrate high morals and acquire knowledge of faith.
Allah has taught in Holy Quran about the mosque; the purpose, its honour and about those who populate it. Those who believe in Allah populate it.
Apparent obedience in initial stage but the entry of faith in heart is actual requirement. The true believer, who come to mosque, remains in love of Allah. Their hearts stuck in mosque from one Salaat till the next, as told by Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be on him). The true believers walk on the narrow paths of Taqwa. These are paths which require that a believer discharge the obligations towards Allah and His Creation and obey all commandments of Allah. A believer’s thoughts and deeds are pure. A true believer does his or her assigned duties with honesty. Their offer Salaat and pay dues of society as well. The true believers save themselves from laziness as it can take them away from Allah. Those who populate mosque have faith in Hereafter. They also take part in financial sacrifices for the sake of Allah. They fear Allah and they love Allah. They spread Divine peace.
The glow of a mosque is due to the worshiper who comes.

" The announcement of this mosque’s construction was made in 1997 by Hazrat Khalifatul Masih IV (ra) ...he named it Masjid Baitur Rahman. It has covered area of 33,419 sq ft. It has two floors and a dome that is 47 ft high and a minaret that is 76 ft high....... There is an ample parking lot that can accommodate 140 cars......altogether more than 2,000 men and women can offer prayers in the mosque. There is also a library, a tabligh/outreach center, a kitchen, a funeral home service area, four classrooms, number of offices, a boardroom, a missionary’s residence, and a guest house. They have done some very beautiful calligraphy on the mosque.
