The Beautiful and Caring Fortress of Taqwa

Peace be on you. The word ‘Taqwa’ has been used many times, in various forms, in the Holy Quran. Its compact definition, extracted from the Holy Quran: To given precedence to the pleasure of God over everything else and to consider God as One and Incomparable and the Source of all powers. Taqwa is to pay dues of God and dues of God’s creation – for the sake of getting pleasure of God.
Taqwa is spiritual beauty. It is attained when a believer takes care of trusts of God, covenants of faith and uses all internal and external faculties according to commandments of God and save them from satanic temptations.
True believer uses all modern facilities with Taqwa and get benefits; they avoids forbidden things and also they are on guard against covert attacks of evil. One way of this attack is improper use of modern days’ inventions. Watching late night lewd films on media and their effects on morals and health is one example. There are other social vices like gambling, drinking and illegitimate friendships etc. Such evils take one far away from God and destroy peace of self and fill the society with pain. The root of sin is to go away from God.
Believers check what they are sending for incoming time. It may be about relations, future and it may be life in Hereafter. Taqwa needs lots of efforts. God makes a way out for the one who practice Taqwa. (Ref: Holy Quran, chapter 65, v 3 and 4)
Believers try to stand firm against evil - for the sake of God, by the grace of God - they endure pains. Their plight is unknown to many. They trust in God and pray with meekness for His mercy.
To give precedence to God over everything is Taqwa and it is attained by the help of practical belief in God – The One and Unique.
