Practical Meanings of Believing in Oneness of God (Touheed)

Peace be on you. Touheed (Oneness of God) does not mean only that one pronounces with mouth ‘la elaha illallah’ i.e there is no god but Allah, and [practically] keeps thousands of idols in the heart. But if someone shows grandeur for any of his work, trick, deception, and plan which is due for God OR he keeps trust on any human which is due for God OR he shows grandeur for his self which should be given to God, in all these situations, one is idol-worshiper in the eyes of God.
Idols are not only those which are made of gold, silver, brass or stone etc and they are trusted, but everything, words or act which is given such grandeur which is the right of God Almighty -- in the eyes of God , that is idol………………….
It is to be kept in mind that the real Touheed -- the declaration of which, God wants from us, and salvation is attached with its acknowledgment – is to consider that the Being of God is pure of every partner; be it idol or human or sun or moon or one’s self or one’s plans or deceptive tricks. And not to suggest any powerful, any provider, any honour-giver or insult-giver, any ally or helper instead of Him. And secondly to have love only for Him, to worship only Him, to fall at His threshold only, to keep hopes only with Him, to fear only Him.
Thus no Tauheed can be perfect without these three qualifications. First, Touheed with respect to being i.e. to consider all present ones, except Him, as like nothing and considering everything as perishable and null in fact. Secondly, Touheed with respect to Attributes i.e. Attributes of Nourisher and Diety are not believed to be present in someone else other than the Creator-Being. And those who seems to be nourisher of things or benefactors, they are believed to be [only a] system run by His Hand. Thirdly, Touheed with respect to one’s love, truthfulness and purity i.e. not to take any other as partner with God in the acts of being His servant, like to have love for Him etc and getting lost in Him.
