This blog is basically to chart my progress in trying to lose weight...

This is a Record of my daily events including my family when appropriate for my other family members to see if they choose to.

This is my legacy, for my family to read after I am dead and burried. So, any thing on here is meant for them only and if it offends anyone, my apologies, but, its not meant for you and them

Chow for now...

May the LORD Bless all who see this.

I wish you well...

Pain!

Posted 05-03-2013 at 08:49 AM by woodworkingmenace

OOOOH boy! Do I have pain on my body....

Its been, what, three weeks, since I went to exercise at the YMCA, and I went back a few days ago.
Then, last night, I went back for the second time LOL. When will I ever learn, that Im not as young as I used to be, and cant just 'do' what I have been doing all these years...

Wife wanted me to spend only ten minutes on every machine. Does she 'tell me'? NOOOOOOO... She expects me to read her mind again, (I keep telling her, only wimmin can do that!).

So, the second half of the show, I started 'doing' the ten minutes of this and that, and stupid me, I tried to pack as much into that ten minutes as I could LOL... Now, I gotta endure the pain, cause I refuse to take pan meds when I am not working out, unless my back is screaming at me... Besides, a little pain makes me know Im alive, too much pain makes me feel Im being tortured, and need to do something about it.

Dad is more lucid now, than he has ever been, since he entered the Nursing Home.
Doctor's Nurse came in and I told her about the itching he has from the antibiotics, and where he has been digging into his skin, because of his constant scratching. (I only told the Nurse at the Nursing Home, a week ago about that, and they didnt pass it on to the Doctors Office...sheeesh).
Been taking him out for a ciggarrette, when we go there, so that gives him an incentive to eat again LOL... I know, its a tough World out there, but, if thats what gets him home fast, then its worth it, then seeing him couped up where he doesnt want to be, though, he is litterally doing the same thing he would be doing at home, as he is doing in the Nursing home, "Eat, sleep, and ****" as my Dad always says ROTFLOL.... and watch TV, of course!

They cut down the trees in front of us, by the electrical sub station, and now, we have 'daylight' all day long! Its amazing, how trees block the sunlight, but, I would still rather have them, as they give beauty to the World, instead of stumps that will slowly rot for many years to come.
My Son and Daughter got some of the wood.
He is going to put a few of them together and make a stable base for an anvil that I have, and he can do his projects with. (He is still wanting to do that 'Ye merry ol knights' routine, of blacksmitting and all that sort of thing, but, I dont think he will ever get to it, if he doesnt get off the computer and quit playing video games and watching those YouTube videos).
I keep telling my Wife, he has all these plans, and never gets anything done, just like my younger Brother, and he never amounted to anything, so I hope my Son starts getting motivated to 'move'.

The cherry tree is losing all its blossoms now, so much so, that it looks like its snowing again! That kind of snow, I can handle LOL...
Its been in the 70s all week, this week, and my Wife and I have been sitting on the swing alot, discussing this and that, and always letting our minds wonder into unfamiliar territories about what we want to do, and accomplish, and what nots... Its quieting and comforting to just sit and swing amid the breeze that blows this way and that, and watch the birds as they eat the bread my Wife throws out to them. She went after bird seed now, so that we can feed them, and see what comes to our feeder.
We have a black and white bird, that comes to our bird house. No bigger than three inches long I figure, and we dont know what it is.
Not in our bird book, and we never have a camera out there to click a picture of it, but, it keeps coming and never goes into the bird house, just looks in LOL... Maybe he lost something in there, or expects someone else has taken up occupancy and wants to see who moved into the neighborhood? Who knows, but, someday, I hope that both of the bird houses are occupied, and we see little ones trying to fly.

We did find an egg, that still had fluid on it, in front of our house, so we know that they are breeding around us, but, we dont see any little ones yet.

We see the usual, black birds, sparrows, chickadees, and cardinals, and, occasionally, the blue bird comes for a visit, but, he only comes once or twice a year it seems like. Good thing too, because they are too territorial, and would chase off all the other birds if they stay.

OK, thats enough for today, and I wish each of you a Great Day, today, and each and every day!

I wish you well...

Jesse

I'm considering starting a pain care blog and happened upon your blog as a result.

The key to long-term pain relief is weight reduction, activity increase, and no smoking.

There are wellness clinics around that will help you to reform your physical health. I've never encounter any patient that reformed their physical health that did not as a direct result improve their emotional health.

I have no idea if you (like most of us) could afford to lose a few pounds. If so, consider doing so. There are many great new medical weight loss programs out there now. Simply Google medical weight loss and read about some. Again, I have no idea if you smoke. If you don't - GREAT! If you do, you could ease your pain significantly by stopping. Smoking inhabits blood circulation by as much as 25%. Blood is the vehicle which carries all healing properties. If your blood is not flowing at a maximum level your ability to recovery from any condition is compromised. Think of it as two cars moving down the interstate, one going 75 mph and the other at 100 mph. Big difference.

Not an authority but a guy that wants to help America heal.
