Is the God of the Old Testament the same God Jesus taught of?

Every instance in theOT where God is blamed is simply the result of our ancestors' ignorant belief that everything that occurs is done by God, period.

Yes its spititual knowledge they lacked.
God allows hemself to be blamed for all things good or bad its called the idiom of permission.
