Unity of God.

Peace be on you.
The Holy Quran tells that Touheed (Unity of God) is taught first. It is taught through revelation by God. It is genuine. In the decay time, corruption in people’s thought starts Shirk (making partners with God).
Without believeing in Touheed, spiritual sight does not get sharpened. Shirk sprouts in hearts when Divine Attributes are not properly understood. Those who do Shirk, they have to change the understanding about God so that they can take fasle-gods for real God. This practice leave them unable to undersatnd true Divine Attributes and God’s manifestation. That is why those who do Shirk always give God’s credit to idols or to the chain of cause and effect.
Shrirk is created when human does not understand the purpose of their creation; they wrongly think God cannot reach them without intermediate link (idols, gods) and vice versa.
When a religion is believed without reason and understanding, latter Shirk starts. Holy Quran provides all reasons to what it ask to believe in. Shirk is never based on reasons or logic; it is based on fantasy, ignorance, weakness of self or insisting on wrong.
“They say, ‘Allah has taken unto Himself a son.’ Holy is He!. He is Self-sufficient. To Him belongs whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth. You have no authority for this. Do you say against Allah what you know not?” [Holy Quran, Chapter 10 : Verse 69 alislam.org/quran]
This is popular type of Shirk. It is refuted in the above verse in four ways. The verse uses the Arabic words:
i- ‘Holy is He!’.........It means that to believe in Him that He has the son is a weakness attributed to Him. To have son, particular kind of desire is needed and it also means father will die some day. These are weaknesses. Progeny means preserving a member of race and progeny means extinction. This particular desire means some thing has to be sent out of body because it cannot saty there for long; after that it grows outside. These are weaknesses; they cannot be attributed to God.
ii-‘He is Self-sufficient’……..God does not need helper.
iii-‘To Him belongs whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth.’…….. God made universe and has full control over it and does not need help for the purpose.
iv-‘ You have no authority for this. Do you say against Allah what you know not?..........People bring lot of philosophies but in fact there is not logic and reason is there which can prove son of God or other partners. Shirk is ignorance and it blames God that He could not announced about His associates but people had more knowledge and they discovered it. Obviously it is wrong.
Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) said that Shirk is oppression. (Bukhari)
Idols or gods does not give anything. God, gives life, provides, makes faculties of creations, makes ways and means.
When physical things are taken as god. Intended benefits of those things cannot be explored.
People who were considered as god, their personal life was full of pain. Thus those who could not saved themselves certainly did never saved anyone.
Islamic Prayer Salaat is a great defense against Shirk.
Human nature rejects Shirk.
