Unity of God is Fudamental and It Upholds .…. Shirk (making partners with God) is Latter Decay in Faith.

Peace be on you. To make partners with God, is the greatest falsehood, according to Holy Quran. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) was commanded to announce:
‘Tell them I am but a man like unto you; it is revealed to me that your God is One God. So let him who hopes to meet his Lord work righteousness and let him associate no one in worship of his Lord.’ (18:111)
Similarly Unity of God was announced by all Prophets.
Various kind of partners have been suggested with God. Some people have said there are two gods; one for light and other of darkness. Others believe in three gods; father, son and holy spirit. Some people have suggested wives for god. There are people who think god has given His powers to certain beings created by Him and there are various demi-gods which manifest His attributes. Some believe that major natural events represents attributes of God. To others, dangerous and frightening animals are demi-gods. Some believe beauty of nature as deity and manifestation of God etc.
Holy Quran denies all such assertions.
Prophets of God are sent to establish Unity of God when its was forgotten, they succeeded against all odds.
When human gave their control to guides other-than-Only-God, they suffered loss. Some of these guides taught them total freedom which astrayed them away from path of spiritual perfection. Other guide ignored human talent and taught them that they could not bear. Some guide taught them to go-away from worldly life and pure things. Some guide declared Shariah (law of God) as curse and did not differentiate between good and bad and lead them to the pit of disaster.
Some philosophers think that idea of God is evolved from idea of several small gods since ancient history mentions many gods. They think Shirk existed before Unity of God therefore idea of One God is modern form of many gods. Some of these philosophers gave the theory that God revealed Himself gradually.
Idea that God revealed Himself gradually is incorrect. All major religions claim that they began with revelation. Logically there was no need that God had to direvt attentions towards deads, stones, rivers, snakes, tigers etc first and then towards Himself. Additionally, major religions believe that revelation started from very beginning, not at any latter stage.
God revealed to human about Himself since start.
Denial of revelation of God by the philosophers is because they have no experience of it and they have not seen any recipient of revelation either.
The Holy Quran tells about the revelation upon pious people before it. And after the Holy Quran has been revealed, due to its blessings, non-Shariah revelation continues:
As for those who say, ‘Our Lord is Allah,’ and then remain steadfast, the angels descend on them, saying: ‘Fear ye not, nor grieve; and rejoice in the Garden that you were promised.’
‘We are your friends, in this life and in the Hereafter. Therein you will have all that yourselves will desire, and therein you will have all that you will ask for --
An entertainment from the Most Forgiving, the Merciful.’
[Holy Quran, chapter 41, verses 31 to 33]
In this era Ahmadiyya promised reformer (title: promised Messiah and Mahdi (peace be on him), those who believe him), presented revelations to him; these are not Sharaih-revelations. According to him, these revelations were to serve Holy Quran and Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him). After witnessing these revelations, philosophers are not seen correct. God still talks to whom He likes.
Philsophers’ theory that in ancient times, people only worshiped spirits, natural events or animals etc is incorrect. In reality, gradual undersanding about religious matter was given but not through Shirk (making partners with Allah). Cycles of light and ignorance come for nations. Likewise times of having believe in Unity of God and Shirk came one after another.
------- For example, in the book of Gita (of Hadhrat Krishan; according to Ahmadiyya Muslims’ undersatnding, he was a Prophet of God for his time), his book has no mention of idols which exist now. What we observe is there was Unity of God first, then decay in belief brought idols.
-------- Second example is of Jewish religion. Torah tells that cycles of Unity of God and then Shirk existed in them.
-------- Then Christianity, Hadhrat Esa (Jesus, peace be on him) came in the chain of Hadhrat Musa (Moses, peace be on him) with belief in One God. Latter the belief corrupted into parts of God.
-------- Finally, Islam was sent, which presented One God too. But slowly, some adherents started to prostrate at graves of pious elders. Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h.) was very anxious that his people should never commit it. (Ref: Bukhari)
In ancient tribes, like aborigines of Australia, even when there was no mutual links existed, the idea of God existed.
In ancient tribes of Mexico and Africa etc, there exists idea of bigger God but they worship smaller gods. Why? It is easy to understand…..Since corruption to more gods came after their era of belief in Unity of God, they remembered that corrupted time more than earlier times of Unity of God.
All in all, belief in Unity of God is the original reality, basically taught by God through revelation. Shirk (making parters with God in any form) is the product of corruption in religions.
