Thank Heaven's THAT's Over!

My account manager for the temp position called to tell me the client decided the project was too expensive and they needed to cut the number of consultants. I was the least qualified to do the work, and had already said it wasn't a good fit for me, so I don't have to go back. DH is disappointed, but I am THRILLED!

The call came in at the end of Bigun's and my walk along the waterfront at the top end of Lake Washington. We got not only a break from the rains, but a sun break at that. It was glorious. I took the ball and little chuckit, and let Big' off-lead long enough to chase the ball a few times. He really liked that. We walked along the pier and he got to chase mallards and seagulls. We saw American Coots on the water.
Now, back with sick hubby and dark skies -- and a soaring heart.
