Life in the Cracks

I realized years ago that if I was going to be happy in my life, I had to be happy with finding joy in the cracks of time between my obligations and commitments. I liken my life to that little tug that pulls in between great ocean-going vessels, winnowing her way to find the best position to snuggle in and take hold of life's leverage point. I may have to tow that monster that yokes me, but for brief moments I can rest, relax, and take joy in knowing that this small space of time is mine. ![Smile](https://pics3.city-data.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif)
That just about sums up my weekends.
Today, I've just started the second load of laundry. The dryer is now signalling me its job is done. DH has gone to show a property and I've got a couple of hours to sew up my March crazy quilt block foundation before he returns. I figure once that laundry gets folded and put away, this crack of time is mine.
I hope you are finding your time to enjoy your day, and no matter how much time it is -- revel in knowing it's yours.
Happy Now.
